Here at New Hope we have a long history of reaching out through Missions. Through MTW (Mission To The World) we have sent teams and individuals as far away as Peru, Honduras, Belize, Africa, China and as close as Fairmont WVA, New York, Mississippi, and a Mission Training Camp in Atlanta, GA.

We have supported local missions currently and in the past through The Pittsburgh Project, Crossroads Pregnancy Center and The Harbor; missionaries on foreign soil in Morocco, East Asia and India. We also partner with Young Life, Coalition for Christian Outreach, Reformed University Ministries, Covenant Theological Seminary and Covenant College.

If you have any questions about our Vision for Missions at New Hope PCA, please contact the head of our missions committee Dan Van Doornik

Mission: Fairmont West Virginia
New Hope has a long term commitment to the town of Fairmont, WVA. We have sent teams to this town each year since 2001, and plan to continue sending teams in the future.

Our mission there is to reach the town of Fairmont for Jesus Christ, through serving in the surrounding communities by repairing and restoring homes, leading Vacation Bible Schools, interacting with the neighbors where we work, and coming alongside Christ Community Church of Fairmont.

New Hope, along with over 50 other PCA churches throughout the United States send teams down for 1 week at a time from June thru July. We currently stay at Camp Mar-Mac. This is our “home base” for the time we are there. The exciting news is that the PCA has purchased over 200 acres of land near Fairmont and has already begun building its own camp. Dayspring Camp and Conference Center will be the new home for us to stay at as we continue our relationship to the people of Fairmont.

Along with sending a team each summer, we have and will continue to have opportunity to send teams on weekends to either work on the new camp, or follow-up with those we minister to in the summer.
