How To Reach Us

August 1981
83 members of Hillcrest Presbyterian Church left and formed a new church, New Hope Presbyterian Church (PCA). They called Pastor Bruce Mawhinney, their pastor at Hillcrest whose preaching and teaching had convinced them of their need to begin a new church, to be their pastor, and he accepted their call.
(more about the Presbyterian PCA)
The newly formed congregation met in various buildings until August, 1984. That year they had purchased the old Jordan Elementary School, which was renovated and now serves as part of our current facility. Pastor Mawhinney served New Hope Presbyterian Church (PCA) as pastor until July, 1992.
October 1993
New Hope Presbyterian Church (PCA) calls its second pastor, Pastor Scott Parsons, who after many years of fruitful ministry answered a call to another church (March, 2001) .
April 2002
The congregation votes to elect Pastor W. Dennis Griffith as its third pastor. A growing need for more space has led New Hope Presbyterian Church (PCA) to undertake a building program that doubled the size of our facilities. A new sanctuary, multi-purpose room, kitchen, restrooms and offices were added.
Construction began in March and our new building was dedicated in November 1997. Our old building has now become our educational wing.
In 2002, a new addition to the sanctuary was completed. This was in response to the Lord’s bountiful blessings.
